It’s that time of year again for New Year Resolutions!\u00a0\u00a0I want to tell you about a DIFFERENT kind of weight loss story.\u00a0 We have all been told that weight loss is about food & exercise, right?\u00a0 I\u2019d like you to know that there is so much more to the story.<\/p>\n

A former nutritionist client of mine, referred a patient (I\u2019ll call her Pam) to me this past October.\u00a0 Because the nutritionist had such great results working with me with a difficult non-food issue, she wondered if I might be able to help Pam. This was not an issue about food, but about GRIEF.\u00a0 That\u2019s right\u2026you read that correctly.\u00a0 GRIEF.<\/p>\n

Pam had a traumatic, and accidental death of a family member 20 years earlier\u00a0when her weight became an issue.\u00a0 It was a shocking and unexpected event that was loaded with many issues.\u00a0 Through no fault of her own, that event caused an ENERGY BLOCK so big that it linked her energy to grief, loss, inability to enjoy fun anymore, fear of travel, as well as love relationship fears.\u00a0That couldn\u2019t be the cause of her weight gain, could it?\u00a0 Oh yes, it could\u00a0and it was.<\/p>\n

From the first session in October 2014, I was able to \u201chear\u201d all the links to this tragic death that she had never realized she anchored together.\u00a0 Pam was a secret binger and couldn\u2019t stop\u2026.till we started clearing the REASONS for the driving forces that made her want to eat.\u00a0 She knew when\u00a0her weight\u00a0problem started, but couldn\u2019t help herself or control her eating.<\/p>\n

After completing her second hour of Tapping, she was feeling lighter, felt calmer and was more secure of herself.\u00a0 By the third session, only two weeks after she started clearing the trauma, she had stopped binging and DIDN\u2019T HAVE TO WORK AT IT!!!\u00a0 Did you read that???\u00a0 She DIDN\u2019T HAVE TO WORK OR SUFFER AT CONTROLLING HER EATING!!!!!!!!!\u00a0 She just stopped binging without any effort!!!\u00a0 Let me say this again.\u00a0 After TWO HOURS OF TAPPING, she no longer had the desire to binge after suffering for 20 years!<\/p>\n

No matter what \u201cdiet\u201d you go on, most people feel deprived, anxious and look forward to when they can have their favorite comfort foods again.\u00a0 Sure, people lose weight on diets,\u00a0BUT, how many keep the weight off?\u00a0 How many more go back to eating, feeling out of control and beat themselves up for feeling like a failure?\u00a0 How many people are constantly thinking about\u00a0food, calories, and exercise to maintain their weight, or when the burden becomes too much, they just give up and return to old habits?<\/p>\n

Food brought Pam comfort as it does for many people with weight issues, but once the driving forces UNDERNEATH the\u00a0habit were cleared out, THE NEED TO EAT to cover the pain, left her.\u00a0 She wasn\u2019t lazy, stupid, out of control, a loser, or any of the other tags that you might give yourself when you can\u2019t or won\u2019t lose unwanted weight.\u00a0 Her weight was covering up and shoving down EMOTIONAL PAIN that she didn\u2019t know how to release.\u00a0\u00a0It is the same story for ANY addiction.\u00a0The addiction is helping\u00a0you to cope by shoving down the feelings you don\u2019t want to feel or know how to release.<\/p>\n

Tapping gave\u00a0Pam back her life.\u00a0 She had NO DESIRE to devour the Christmas cookies, and all the holiday treats.\u00a0 Imagine that?\u00a0 When have you felt that kind of freedom from YOUR emotional upsets?\u00a0 Weight issues are NOT about weight, but about emotions.\u00a0 Did you know that the \u201cformal\u201d name of Tapping is EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE?!!!\u00a0\u00a0You don’t\u00a0have to suffer with uncontrollable emotions and uncomfortable memories.\u00a0 There is a solution.\u00a0\u00a0Call me for an appointment today and make a REAL resolution in your mind and body!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
