Feeling ungrateful?\u00a0 Try emotional clean-up!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are feeling ungrateful and having trouble feeling grateful, try doing some emotional clean up! There are people who are flat out ungrateful. \u00a0There are others however, that are so loaded down with\u00a0<\/span>pain or wounds that all they can feel is the hurt of life. \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I would not have considered myself an ungrateful person but there were times when I couldn\u2019t see anything but pain and sadness.\u00a0 When in survival or safety mode, sometimes it\u2019s difficult to feel anything but what\u2019s raging right in front of you.\u00a0 That\u2019s okay.\u00a0 I certainly didn\u2019t want to stay in those horrible feelings so I had to and continue to do my own emotional work.<\/span><\/p>\n

It hurts when people die.\u00a0 It hurts when people betray you.\u00a0 It\u2019s anger producing when people don\u2019t keep their word.\u00a0 Any overabundance of pain can produce a stuck\u00a0negative\u00a0focus.\u00a0 My message to you would be that you don\u2019t have to stay in those shoes when you do the emotional clean up and gratitude becomes much easier in the process.<\/span><\/p>\n

There can be times when you not only feel the lack of gratitude, but so overcome with grief, anger, shame, regret (any other low emotional upset) that those emotions are the\u00a0<\/span>only thing you can feel.\u00a0<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/i><\/span>Is that okay?\u00a0 In my book it is because I know energy and you can\u2019t put perfume on trash!<\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe your story is similar.\u00a0 You\u2019ve been hit, and hit again with difficulty of some kind or some blow that has just broken your heart.\u00a0 How do you cope?\u00a0 You\u2019ll get over it in time, right?\u00a0 Some people do, but my client\u2019s stories are filled with things they couldn\u2019t get over until they tapped them away.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s not just a matter of mind over matter.\u00a0 Did you know that pain, illness, lack of success, terrible relationships, and money issues can be a sign of stuck emotions?\u00a0 Those blocks go deep into areas you would never guess.<\/span><\/p>\n

While I was grieving the passing of people I loved, so was a family member 20+ years my senior.\u00a0 She was so worried because she felt like she couldn\u2019t focus, couldn\u2019t remember, couldn\u2019t concentrate and couldn\u2019t even think clearly.\u00a0 With all the focus on dementia and Alzheimer\u2019s in recent years, she was scared she was now a target.\u00a0 The interesting thing is that I was feeling the same way.\u00a0 I couldn\u2019t remember, and I kept repeating myself.\u00a0 We were both in grief shock!\u00a0 Though it was uncomfortable, I knew what was happening within me, but she was really frightened.<\/span><\/p>\n

We both had other physical symptoms as well.\u00a0 High blood pressure for her, allergies for me. That\u2019s stuck energy related to the shock.\u00a0 Your body is showing you signs of needing internal release work.\u00a0 Do you pay attention to your signs and symptoms, or do you shove them down trying to ignore what\u2019s happening?<\/span><\/p>\n

Pay attention to those signs for they are giving you signals that you need some help. \u00a0Even though I’m a tapping coach, I needed help from another coach. \u00a0Don\u2019t think that because the technique looks simple, it isn\u2019t complicated.\u00a0 Clearing your own energy blocks and intensity is not easy.<\/span><\/p>\n

I recommend getting a tapping coach for those times as well in between the shocks.\u00a0 Don\u2019t overlook the emotional intensity of a break up, a betrayal, a job loss, infertility, or being fired. If you are stuck in pain for too long, it will cause other building blocks of trouble. Energy builds and you can be putting layer on top of layer and then all of the sudden—bam, you are over your head with issues. I understand some people don\u2019t have the ability to \u201cmaintain\u201d their energy with coaching help, but boy if you can, do it!\u00a0 It will pave the way for a smoother journey and joyful ride.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
