A TV show released grief?\u00a0 What???\u00a0 How?<\/p>\n

I walk my talk and do my own tapping often.\u00a0 Recently, I was trying to remember what brought on this great positive shift in my energy that has created wonderful changes in my life!\u00a0 Today I remembered….<\/p>\n

Nine years ago, my sweetheart Ray went through a horrific illness and journey that was very intense for three years.\u00a0 Bed bound, in and out of the hospital, illness that ate through his bones, becoming disfigured\u2026so much got stuffed and stored within me while I was on my mission to help him, take care of him and keep him safe.\u00a0 I was his caretaker and he couldn\u2019t turn or move in bed without my physically moving him.\u00a0 Suffice it to say, it was incredibly intense for both of us, and extremely difficult on me physically, emotionally and in every other way possible when he passed away.\u00a0 I was devastated and exhausted!<\/p>\n

Rayna, on the show Nashville, died in one of the spring 2017 episodes and it triggered A LOT of memories of Ray’s journey that I hadn’t healed or released. We had so many incidents that were similar in the episode that triggered all the memories and nuances that Ray (and I) went through. \u00a0We experienced several “ups”, thinking everything was okay, and then came the slam and shock of several unexpected downward turns. \u00a0So many aspects got buried in my energy while trying to cope and take care of his intense needs.<\/p>\n

I watched that episode three times ON PURPOSE, to bring up my intense pain and then I tapped through all of it while watching the show.\u00a0 There was the shock, the oxygen mask, the part where Rayna got better and everything seemed fine and the BAM, she took a huge turn, the rushing in of medical personnel, the visions that Rayna had from beyond–Ray had them too…even their NAMES are similar Rayna\/Ray…!!! I watched as Rayna’s husband went through his fears, feeling scared to death himself, all the grief, the shock…yup…I could relate to ALL of it.<\/p>\n

My point is that I used that show and all the triggers to release remaining heavy energy and I’ve felt very differently since. \u00a0There might be more remaining emotions, but I used the triggers that came while watching a TV show. \u00a0It helped release so much!!<\/p>\n

When songs “get” you, or shows tweak you, use them to work for you. I could’ve changed the channel to something happier. \u00a0That show was sooooo incredibly sad and very intense for me to watch, BUT I knew it was a prompt to help me release more of that horrific pain of the past. I took the opportunity to have it work FOR ME!\u00a0 I cried hysterically at times while tapping, which I never did back when all of this was happening.\u00a0 I was trying to be strong for Ray!\u00a0 Meanwhile, I was drowning.<\/p>\n

That pain has been buried for nine years and it was like living in a fog just like the above picture! There was so much emotional angst that I couldn’t deal with it all back then. \u00a0No WONDER I’ve felt differently since tapping on those emotions and memories!!<\/p>\n

What pain have you buried that needs to be released?\u00a0 When you get triggered, don\u2019t shut it down.\u00a0 Use it to heal your pain. \u00a0Learn tapping, because you just never know when that miraculous technique might be ready and waiting to help you\u2026like when watching a TV show to release traumatic old memories!!!<\/p>\n
