After years of working with clients, I always knew I wanted to grow my business and expand beyond Rochester, NY. That meant having a website and possibly expanding nationally and globally. While that sounded great in theory, I was scared of having all that added responsibility. The website became a surprising “vehicle” to help me heal my fears and wounds.
If you read About Joanne/My story on my website www.trueauthenticpower.com, reaching the point of allowing and opening up to more possibilities was extremely scary. I had just been through years of overwhelm and the thought of returning to a possible place of the unknown and being overwhelmed again, well… it was overwhelming just thinking about it let alone acting on it. Many might have watched my journey of healing as “telling the same story” over and over again… and for a while, that’s what I did, but that same story showed EXACTLY where my energy, beliefs and emotions were stuck What I know from the energy work that I do is, if you HAVE a story that you keep telling, there is a reason and a message. It’s trying to help you by bringing to your attention, the wound that keeps you stuck. It serves a purpose and it’s not something you need to just muscle through and push against. In fact, just the opposite is true. What is the message of being stuck in that place, at this time? Oh, believe me. There is definitely more to the story.
My website became a surprising vehicle on many levels for many reasons that reached beyond me. It helped me heal certain patterns. It helped my marketing consultant heal certain patterns. It opened up the power of energy, to the creative webmaster. Who’d have thought a single website would do more “behind the scenes” beyond giving an entrepreneur a presence to the world? My website became a door to many parts of my life. While my logical, thinking mind believed that developing my website would connect me to “those out there,” it became much more. It was a journey connecting me to the “stuff” inside me!
What is showing up in your life as a “vehicle” to help you heal your wounds? You may be surprised!
