Being bullied is not new but the intensity is so much more damaging now with the social media impact.  One definition describes bullying as: “Use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force him or her to do what one wants.”

From this definition, you can see how bulling can not only apply to peers, but also to mentors, parents, teachers, siblings and any other powerful person who has or still does, intimidate you. Children have very little power or control and bullying can range from mild which might show up with getting slightly teased to severe and life altering. I’ve worked with many clients who were bullied in obvious ways that changed and damaged their lives.

Ryan’s bully experience changed every part of her life.  Through the years, the effects actually gained so much momentum, that it debilitated her life in multiple ways.  She became “paralyzed” with fear.

Though intelligent and educated, the “energy” of being bullied got locked up within her subconscious mind and energy with seemingly “no way out”.  That phrase became her subconscious mantra until she had a fateful meeting.

Does any of this sound familiar?  I’m frozen, stuck, paralyzed, I just can’t, I’ve tried and tried…?  Those are all descriptions I’ve heard often from clients when they have hit a wall.  My client, Ryan is not alone, but her story and symptoms became so debilitating that she was willing to try anything to help. Seven years of drugs, therapy and trying to turn things around with no results brought more frustration, hopelessness, car sickness, gluten allergies and many other awful symptoms for her. There is a way out, and tapping can and does change situations with amazing results.
