Attention Men–think you are over it? I doubt it….

Men do you think you are “over it”?  I doubt it!

While this article is directed to men, it really isn’t just for men.  I’m addressing specifically men, because you guys are taught to buck up, and hide your feelings.  Where do you think all of THAT energy goes?  Energy doesn’t stop because you try to stop it.  Emotion and turmoil carries an energy and it has to go SOMEWHERE….maybe it undermines your self-esteem, maybe it causes trouble in your relationships, maybe you are preventing a desire because it doesn’t feel safe on some level, or maybe it is affecting your health (aches, pains, dis-ease).

I want to share a story of a sweet hearted man who is suffering from shock and grief.  He is divorced, has children, and lives with his parents.  What happened?

He was engaged and in the service.  Without giving any details, he saw or experienced something while in the service that devastated him EMOTIONALLY.  It doesn’t matter what happened.  It’s more important how it affected him.

He describes himself as a pretty happy emotional kid and you can tell he has a tender heart.  Though he was affected by the incident, he pushed through it and got married.  Due to the “event” however, he went inward, and quietly suffered.  What happened to the open, loving guy that his wife “thought” she was marrying?  He was gone.

His marriage began to fall apart, and his life unraveled more and more.  He is not lazy or lame for being back home with parents.  He is STILL SUFFERING with an energy that is stuck inside.  It is NOT weakness.  He is not less of a man.  He is HUMAN with a loop that keeps playing over and over in his energy.  I don’t know how to break this to you guys, but you are not that different from women.  You feel.  You hurt but you are taught to hide and take it like a man.  Ohhhh, the pain of doing that….

That event devastated him but how was he going to clear it out?  Ah, that’s where tapping becomes your best friend and there is science that proves its effectiveness.

An emotionally charged stuck event might not show up for you with relationship issues.  It might show up with financial problems, or with a relentless drive to always outshine, prove yourself, or need attention. You might always SAY you want to do this or that, but if you never get to it, you are stuck.

This crazy looking tapping technique, men, allows you to find out what is in the way, so you can start to take back your power and really FEEL that empowerment.  If you can remember an incident that still upsets you, pulls you down, angers or hurts you, I GUARANTEE you have NOT GOTTEN OVER IT.  Ever heard of road rage????  Worse yet and probably very likely, you might be reliving an uncomfortable pattern over and over again just with different people.

Tapping does not erase memories but it does take away the charge that you get from feeling the emotions.  If you think that this is all just woo woo, why then, would an organization as prestigious, serious and focused, like the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, ask me to come and present about Tapping (EFT)?  Because it’s powerful, it works, and they are focused on getting to the top of their game!!!  This is a serious technique, guys.

How long before you address what’s got you stuck?  I promise you, “it” won’t go away just because you push forward–it’s energy so it never stops but it can be transformed.  Have you ever noticed how many people seem to be walking dead vs. alive and vibrant?  Do they smile or retreat?  Are they grumpy or engaging?  That’s all energy!  What does YOURS say about what is going on inside of you?
