Relationship lingo; Settle down, ball & chain, institution of marriage? Yuck!

What relationship lingo do you use?

Settle down, ball & chain, institution of marriage…?  Ick!None of that sounds appealing to me, how about to you? I feel my way through life using my intuition most of the time and none of those terms feel good to me! The idea of marriage could mean loving partnership, an enhancement to your life, or feeling lovingly connected, so why oh why, would we link the above words instead?

As children, we watch, learn, and assume that what we see is how “it” is in life. That modeling becomes an automatic part of our world. The energy of that learning goes into our subconscious mind without any questioning or discernment. Did you know that?  It’s automatic and unplanned.  Who modeled marriage to you growing up? Go even deeper into the memory banks and think who modeled happiness to you?

Think about your relationships. Are they difficult or easy? Do you come to resolutions, or keep arguing about the same stuff over and over? Do you talk through issues, ignore or hide behind texts as if the problem hasn’t happened? Did you see a loving union between your parents?  Now look at YOUR relationships. How closely do they resemble what you saw or heard growing up?  In many cases, your life will look or feel similar.

I had a male client—nice looking, vibrant personality, early 30s, and he wanted marriage and a family, or so he thought. His friends were “settling down” (gosh I dislike the sound of that) having children and he longed for the same outcome. What did his relationships look like? He had no trouble finding and dating women, but by the end of about two years, the relationship always ended. He was picking and energetically attracting “safe” woman, meaning, they never really would be who he would want to marry.  It was a subconscious protection of sorts, so he wouldn’t have to have the same painful relationship in marriage that he saw growing up. They weren’t bad women, but they weren’t what he really wanted so on some level, he knew the relationships would end. He did this many times and was very frustrated.

A friend told him about me and my work. I spent very little time talking about his blocks because tapping changes the energy and subconscious beliefs.  It is the powerful combination that creates magic!  As soon as I heard the replay of his parents, I knew where to focus with him.

People believe that the pain of the past is over. I’m here to tell you that is totally untrue. TOTALLY! This professional, educated, healthy, and attractive man couldn’t get out of his own way in relationships because of his past!

His parent’s relationship was full turmoil and arguing. His subconscious mind recorded those memories as if to say, there is no way I am going into THAT! Is that conscious thinking? No, because you’d think he’d be able to make another choice, right? Wrong. Is this logical? No. Can it rule your life without you even knowing it? ABSOLUTELY!!!

He was totally dumbfounded as to how to create the relationship he desired, UNTIL he changed his energy about relationship beliefs! Did it take a long time? Do you consider three (hourly) sessions a long time?

He met “her” within a week of his last session!  Is that quick enough?  He wrote a testimonial for me 3-1/2 weeks after his last session telling me he’d met someone. That means, they met within DAYS of that last session. He’s now married to her and they just had their first child! Love, love, love…Ahhhhhh.

Not everyone moves and releases old patterns at the same speed. It is very dependent upon your subconscious beliefs and emotions, which creates the individual process. Still, when you change your energy and subconscious, your outside world will be different. Talk about TRUE AUTHENTIC POWER?!

Your energy doesn’t just apply to relationships.  What is the message YOUR energy is sending out to the universe about living? Look at the people around you? How is life working? Is it easy or hard? Do your relationships feel good or are they difficult? Do you feel like you are in the flow or always battling something or someone? It’s all learned!

Imagine now, if you COULD really “program in” what you’d like. Can you actually do that? Absolutely yes!  Oh, when you see and FEEL the power available to help you and your life, you will be saying, bring it on! You are already using your energy in some way, but is it working for you?

What is it you want in your relationship? Do you want to “settle down” or enter a new chapter of life with fun, excitement and joy?  Do you want to be or have a “ball & chain” or would you rather be with someone you enjoy who loves you?
